It is a difficult time when you find out that you have a sexually transmitted disease, especially if you contract it from your first sexual encounter. There are many men as well as many women who prey on the naive girls and boys who are not sexually educated. This can often lead to many things including STDs, pregnancy and even death if the STD is fatal. If you are one of the lucky ones who has only caught a passing STD then you will be glad to hear that genital warts and herpes are two of the infections that are treatable.

Contracting genital warts is nothing to be ashamed about which is no reason for not going to the doctor to get help. For women especially who need to have the wart surgically remove with a knife or by freezing them out which is humiliating to say the least. For guys it is not so tough and they have more options. There are creams to touch onto the wart to kill it off but you must be sure to only put the wart killer solution on the warts otherwise the skin can blister and get badly irritated.

The other options are having the warts frozen off if there are only a few of them or the doctor can give you a needle in each one with a powerful wart killer. This way is less attractive than the wart removal cream because for many guys having the doctor touch there Johnson is not a very pleasant experience. Having warts is not a pleasant experience either and passing them on to other people is not a great idea. Since there are so many young people starting to get into sexual relationships then condoms are the only method for protecting them.
