Catching an STI is not what anybody wants to happen to them however the reality is that at least 50% of younger people between the ages of 16 years and 25 will catch an STI during their life. Genital warts are one of the more common sexually transmitted infections that are being spread around rapidly. Simple science states that the more people that have the infection means that the more people will most like catch it. This is a real catch twenty-two scenario that makes having sex with random partners something to think even more seriously about. It is no longer the swinging sixties and even back then there was still a good chance that you could catch some kind of STI.

The best thing that you can do if you find yourself with a case of genital warts is to get to the doctors or gynecologist as quickly as possible. For the ladies it is very important that you deal with this situation immediately because the genital warts infection can cause trouble in later life if left unseen too. Men usually just need to have a common genital wart remover application to remove the warts over time however in the case of ladies, they may need laser surgery to burn the warts from inside the vagina.

Often in cases of little warts or few warts the doctors can freeze these off the men’s genitals or use a quarterzone shot to kill the infection. It is not uncommon for the warts to go away by themselves however they may return if left untreated and there is still the chance that you can pass on the wart infection to others. Just because you cannot see the warts does not mean that the infection does not exist, especially in the case of women.
